Did you know you can prep your garden beds and prune your trees now?

In fact, now is the perfect time to do both! Yes, that's right. If you prep your garden beds now with manure, mulch, and amendments, they will break down over the winter leaving you with a bed that's ready to plant in the spring.

Now is also the perfect time to prune your trees and bushes. The cold weather has made them go dormant, so there is no harm in trimming them now. Trim any limbs that face inwards or cross each other. Make clean cuts near the base of the tree to minimize healing time.
